About

The Celebrate Youth Arts Festival presented by The Learning Tree of Arts made its debut four years ago at the Redland Koi Gardens in Homestead, when Karyn Tenn Yuk, owner and director of The Learning Tree of Arts, coordinated an event that was dedicated solely to the artistically talented youth in our community.

As tough economic times have taken its toll on the nation’s economy, and budget cuts after budget cuts seem to take away the arts from our children’s education, the Celebrate Youth Arts Festival evolved in an effort to encourage, support and promote both the visual and performing arts, showcasing some of our most talented kids.

This unique one-day festival is an opportunity for  public and private schools, groups, studios, and organizations to come together in one place to exhibit their work, perform their talents, and bring awareness to their programs. It gives our community a front seat view to the artistically gifted youths that are amongst us. It is a day to let them shine!

As each year passes, the Celebrate Youth Arts Festival grows bigger and better, attracting more and more schools and groups to participate for the common cause – youth arts!
